NAPA of Gloucester relocates to Route 17

NAPA of Gloucester, an auto parts business, recently relocated from Main Street to the former Department of Motor Vehicles building on Route 17 south of Short Lane.

Owner Corey Bradford of Gloucester said he opened at the new location Aug. 10. The store is open seven days a week. A grand opening celebration will be held this fall.

The store sells both retail and commercial, including to automotive repair shops and hobbyists, Bradford said. The staff custom mixes auto paint and sells a full line of auto parts, tools and equipment. Also, they make hydraulic hoses.

“I’m excited about the new location,” he said. Many new customers have stopped by with the new store’s more visible location, he said, with Labor Day Monday drawing a large crowd. Bradford employs a staff of 15 employees, mostly full-time workers. Andy Gordon of Hayes is store manager.
