The Moose Family Players will present “Shrek the Musical Jr.” the weekend of Dec. 13-14 at the Moose Family Center, located off Route 17 on Moose Drive, Gloucester. Showtimes are 3 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 13 and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14.
The greatest fairy tale never told comes to life in this show, based on the award-winning Broadway show “Shrek the Musical,” which was based on the animated movie, “Shrek.”
Featuring a cast of 55 children and a score of 17 all-new songs, along with unforgettable characters and outrageous humor, “Shrek the Musical Jr.” is “ogre-sized fun for the whole family,” said a press release.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children and students with an ID. They may be purchased at the door or in advance at Gloucester Office Supply in the Edgehill Town Center on Main Street in Gloucester or Golden Creations at 1761 George Washington Memorial Highway in The Point Shoppes at Gloucester Point.
