Mooch’s BBQ, owned and operated by Montell “Mooch” Jenkins of Kilmarnock, opened to the public this summer in the pavilion at Thousand Trails Chesapeake Bay Campground on Trails Lane in Gloucester.
The restaurant offers a lunch and dinner menu of sandwiches, baskets and bowls, including fried chicken, cheesesteak, burgers, hot dogs, fish, shrimp, wings and barbecue, along with fries, coleslaw, baked beans, onion rings and the chef’s signature Mac & Mooch Bowl.
For breakfast, diners have a range of choices, from the standard breakfast platter or pancakes to a variety of biscuits, along with hashbrowns, freshly baked cinnamon rolls, toast, and biscuits.
Items are available for carry-out and catering.
