The 2017 Middle Peninsula Stingrays played in the USSSA Richmond League fall ball season. Of the 62 teams in the league from Virginia, the Middle Peninsula Stingrays finished the season in fourth place. The team consists of 13-year-olds from Mathews, Gloucester and Middlesex counties. The Stingrays started playing the last weekend in September and finished the season this past weekend.  Team members are, from left, Aiden West, Drew Adkins, Caleb West, Jackson Dutton, Dillon Tisdale, Brady Wright, Manager Aaron Ray, Coach Joey Williams, Jarrett Williams, Brandon Barney, Braden Hudgins, Chase Burris, Daniel Moughon, Patrick Davey and, not pictured, Trent Alterman.
