The Mathews High School Music Department welcomed the community to the school’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium last Wednesday for its annual concert, featuring classic and popular songs of the season. Above from left, Jayden Boyd, Felicity Hartlove, Ivar Golden and Hunter Owens perform with other members of the school’s Concert Band. Below, MHS music director Mark Givens conducted the Jazz Band, Orchestra and Concert Band. The evening ended with a rousing sing-along with the audience taking part.
