MHS harriers 14-0 mid-season

The Mathews High School boys’ and girls’ cross country teams both won their meet last Wednesday, Sept. 29, at King Carter Course in Lancaster, putting both teams 14-0 mid-season. The boys won with a team score of 21 and the girls won with a score of 20.

Cameron Stearns came in first overall with a time of 18:25. Next for Mathews was Seth James who ran a 20:00, followed by Carson Brown who finished at 20:08.

Dylan White ran a 20:10, followed by Henry Sowers (JV) (20:28), Salvador Cardenas (JV) (20:47), Chance Higginbotham (JV) (21:05), Blake Hunley (JV) (21:07), Gavin Dustin (21:11), Andrew Greve (21:13), Jaxon McDonald (21:26), Grayson Camp (22:04), Noah Hurst (JV) (23:52), Elias Hidalgo (JV) (24:05), Adam Dustin (JV) (24:13), Zachary Salvadori (JV) (24:29), Franklin Cardenas (JV) (24:39), Fabian Cardenas (25:43), Adam Greve (JV) (28:03) and James Allen Morgan (JV) (28:45).

For the girls’ team, Adelle Hudgins came in first for Mathews and second overall with a time of 23:36. ...
