The Mathews High School golf team held its Senior Night during Monday’s match at the Piankatank River Golf Club, Hartfield, recognizing seniors Danny Hogge, Adam Dustin and Bryce West.
Mathews took the win for the day with a score of 185, while West Point turned in a team score of 205. Brandon Hubbard led the pack for Mathews with a 41 followed by Chase Ambrose with a 45 and Hogge with a 49.
“A great day for the boys,” said MHS head coach Jake Jackson. “They started their day with great spirits and ended it with celebration. Times like that make a team impact.”...
