MHS boys beat K&Q, 14-4

In a five-inning game Tuesday, the Mathews High School varsity baseball team defeated King and Queen by a 14-4 margin.

Timmy Dehoux was the winning pitcher for the Devils. Will Jackson picked up three hits and scored two runs. Dawson Adams had two hits and scored four runs. Brady Wright also had two hits, driving in two runs.

Mathews travels to Charles City today for a 5 o’clock game against the Panthers. On Tuesday, MHS will hold its Senior Night recognitions before the 5 o’clock game against West Point.
