Mathews, Williamsburg roots grow into a family cookbook

Her love for family, history and the art of cookery came together in Anne Geddy Cross’s publication, "Cooking with the Coles, Geddys, Lanes and Other Relatives and Friends." It’s a true work of love inspired by her passion for history and her knowledge of good cooking.

"There are four generations of my family’s history and recipes in this book," Anne explained, as she sat in the second story of her home on Garden Creek, a site providing a breathtaking view of the area including the Chesapeake Bay. Winston, her pet dog, nestled beside her, watching as if he knew what was being said.
