Author Shawn Cosby will take part in a program from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, sponsored by the Mathews Branch NAACP at the Cobbs Creek Arts Center, 61 Cobbs Creek Lane.
Cosby is a New York Times bestselling author of southern noir fiction. His books include “Blacktop Wasteland,” “Razorblade Tears,” “All the Sinners Bleed” and “King of Ashes.” “All the Sinners Bleed” is now in production as a nine-part Netflix series. He will discuss his books and how he came to be a writer.
A graduate of Mathews High School and a native of Mathews, Cosby now lives in Gloucester. All his books are for sale at the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center.
A book signing and light refreshments will follow Cosby’s talk. The event is free and open to the public.
