The Mathews County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business Training Lunch beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the John Warren Cooke Conference Center of Mathews Memorial Library.

This two-hour training is open to anyone who would like to find out about resources available to help promote commerce in our area; you do not need to be a member of MCCC to attend. There is no cost for chamber members; $10 for non-members.

James T. Carroll III, VP Small Business, Hampton Roads Chamber and Executive Director Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center, Inc., will give a presentation on the importance of small businesses in the region, Virginia and the country; he will also address the “Four Deadly Sins of Small Business Owners.”
