A graveside service for Martha Harrell of Gloucester, was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, in Cypress Chapel Cemetery, Suffolk. She died on July 17, 2019.

She retired from Newport News Redevelopment and Housing Authority.  Parents, Wayland Newman Beale and Pauline Breeding Beale; son, Ronald Harrell, and sister, Mary B. Winslow, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Frank Harrell; daughter, Debbie Eriksen; sister, Patricia Duman-Sowers; two grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. 

The service was conducted by the Rev. Art Wolz.
