The Marching Blue Devils had a great run at the Bands Along the Bay competition at Gloucester High School on Oct. 11. The band beat West Point and King William in Class A competition, coming in second place to New Kent. The MHS band also placed second in the overall visual, music and general effect captions, and received the top score in visual ensemble for Class A bands. The band will be playing at the MHS Homecoming Parade and Field Show on Friday and will have its VBODA State Assessment performance in Richmond on Saturday.
