Third grade Bethel Elementary School teachers Jamie Gardner, Kyla Perry and Tara Lord received Dr. Anthony Vladu’s Superintendent’s Award last Thursday. In September, the third-grade team at Bethel unexpectedly lost a teacher. Gardner, Perry and Lord stepped up to fill in the gaps so students could continue receiving support, in spite of the absence. The award recognizes employees who make meaningful contributions to the school division through effective practices and a commitment to excellence.
