Making masks

MELANY SLAUGHTER / GAZETTE-JOURNALRegina Smith of the Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal has made approximately 200 masks out of fabric for friends, family and neighbors. “I am so incredibly blessed in my life,” said Smith. “This is a way to give back, to serve in the only way I know how.” Smith is not sure how long she will be able to continue making masks because elastic is hard to find. Each mask is packaged individually in plastic.
