The holiday shopping season is here and there is no better place to find meaningful gifts than at The Daffodil, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital’s gift shop. Proceeds from sales at the gift shop benefit the RWRH Make a Difference Fund.
Contributions to the Make a Difference Fund is used to benefit patients and allows the hospital to provide a higher standard of care.
The shop will hold a “Deck the Halls with Discounts Sale” today from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the RWRH dining conference rooms. Discover holiday decor and cozy apparel while supporting the hospital.
“Knowing that the proceeds from our sales contribute to the Make a Difference Fund is incredibly rewarding,” said Cindy Jenkins, gift shop and volunteer manager. “Together, we are making a positive impact in the lives of our patients and their families.”
