Made in Mathews

The 19th annual Made in Mathews Open Studio Tour began on Friday and continues this weekend, featuring works for sale by the county’s best artists and artisans. In top photo, Ned and Dia Lawless of Bay Dream Designs at Hallieford, were ready first thing Friday morning for visitors taking part in the tour. They converted a barn on their property to a showroom to showcase Dia’s home staging and design skills and to display the handmade furniture, serving trays, cutting boards, and other items created by Ned from various local and exotic hardwoods.
