Lund returns as director of Gloucester House

Deirdre Lund, who was executive director of Commonwealth Senior Living at Gloucester House from 1998 to 2016, has returned to her former job at the 81-resident assisted living and memory care facility after working five years in Williamsburg.

Lund said she’s happy to be back at her old job and is looking forward to once again being part of the Commonwealth team. Part of her decision to return was practical, she said—a desire to stop driving so far each day from her Middlesex home. But the other part has to do with the culture and core values of Commonwealth.“They have a culture of caring,” she said.

When Lund left in 2016, she said she just needed a change. She had been at the same job for nearly two decades, and there were changes in her personal life, as well, that played a part. But all the while she was away, she was keeping an eye on Gloucester House.
