Arts on Main’s June show, “Locals,” will open with a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the gallery on Main Street, Gloucester.
The show features paintings, fiber arts, drawings and sculpture that highlight the beauty and talent of 10 regional artists, according to a press release, adding that the artists, using a wide variety of media, showcase the diversity of local artistic expression and the vibrancy of the year-round arts scene on the Middle Peninsula.
On display will be works by Jan Finn-Duffy, Patrice Hobbs, Lawrence Hollingsworth, Gayle Merrill, Rose Nygaard, Peg Poole, Robin Sowell, Kate Swanson, Rebecca West, and Sarah Wicker.
This First Friday opening will include music by Van Hutchins, light bites, and a cash beer and wine bar. The show will be on display until Saturday, June 28.
