Her energy appears never to cease. Aleah Underwood of Laurel View Trail in Gloucester, a 26-year-old entrepreneur, operates two businesses and, at the same time, is a college student with one more year of classes remaining to obtain her LPN. Aleah Underwood moved from Mountain View to Gloucester in 2015. Her first enterprise was establishing Southern Sparkle, a cleaning business, in 2023. On weekends and evenings Aleah did what she enjoys the most: “I love to bake. I baked for family and friends and with encouragement decided to start Baked by Aleah. Went on Facebook, giving a listing of what I baked.” She was operating the business as she had done with previous baking weekends and evenings. But as her clientele grew and her listing included more and more selections, her baking hours grew longer. The business was growing.
