William Wayne Nuttall of Schley, has received a citation from the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament for a 13-pound, 7-ounce sheepshead, caught Aug. 17 in the Chesapeake Bay.
This was one of several sheepshead citations recently reported. Others include:
Brandon Seidel of Hayes, 10-pound, 3-ounce sheepshead, caught July 19 in Chesapeake Bay.
Barry Waltrip of Glou-cester, 10-pound, 6-ounce fish, caught Aug. 15 in the bay; and,
Suzanne Waltrip of Glou-cester, 12-pound, 15-ounce sheepshead, caught Aug. 14 in the bay.
In addition, Brian M. Eckstein of Gloucester won a citation for a 48.25-inch black drum, caught and released Aug. 13 in the Rappahnanock River; and,
Mark Mellon of Gloucester caught a 7-pound citation flounder on Aug. 17 at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
