The Mathews Little League 9-11 softball team defeated Lancaster on Monday, 15-3, to win the District 15 championship game at DuPont Field in Lancaster, becoming the third Mathews Little League team to advance to the state tournament, along with the Juniors team (see June 19 issue) and 8-10 year old Baseball All-Stars, below. The state tournament for this division is hosted by Little League District 7 in York County at the McReynolds Athletic Complex. Games start on Saturday, July 5.
