Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will bring out the outlaw in everyone on Saturday night, when it pays tribute to the greats of classic southern rock and outlaw country.
The show will feature the house band, Shades of Country, and all of the Opry singers, including some special guests. The show will be at Mathews High School’s Harry M. Ward auditorium, starting at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7.
In this first show of its kind at the Opry, audience members will hear the best of country, rock and crossover artists like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Charlie Daniels Band, Jessi Colter, Gretchen Wilson and many others from these musical genres.
