Letter: Whatever happened to Clarence Bowser?

Some of you may have wondered what happened to that colorful guy who ran for sheriff a few times some years back, named Clarence Bowser. He was in the news and the talk of the town for quite some time. Forthright and determined was he. Well, Clarence has not been at all idle. He has a purpose and destiny to his life, and is walking it out, every day.

You may not know that Clarence M. Bowser is an ordained minister. He has been holding church in his home every Sunday, and is soon to start Wednesday night Bible study. Although his congregation is few, Bowser is teaching and preaching the Gospel and many are turning their lives around as a result. About a year ago, Minister Bowser replaced his old barn, which was falling down, with a church.
