Throughout her years of service, she has demonstrated consistent professionalism, sound judgment, and a deep commitment to the well-being of our county. In every role she has held, her outstanding leadership has produced meaningful and lasting benefits for our community. The position of County Administrator is inherently complex, requiring the ability to balance competing priorities while engaging all segments of the community. Ms. Steele has done this effectively. The policies and improvements she helped implement will continue to serve Gloucester well into the future—provided they are not prematurely undone.
