Letter: The U.S. after Roe

Pro-lifers have won an important battle, but the war on innocent unborn children is continuing. After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, each state can now write its own abortion laws. If those governments want God’s blessings, they should seriously consider Deuteronomy 30:19 “… I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may both live …”

In the United States, we have the authorities of religion and government (federal, state, local) over us and we have to decide which is the highest authority. If we oppose what the governments are doing on abortion or other issues, we can vote them out. Keep in mind at the last judgment it is God, and not the Supreme Court, who will decide where we will spend eternity.
