I enthusiastically urge voters to support Kevin Smith’s re-election to the Gloucester Board of Supervisors. Rev. Smith is a conscientious servant of the people of Gloucester. He is Independent in his views, and is willing to talk to anyone to help resolve their concerns or discuss county policy.
We don’t always agree, but he has always been patient, polite and thoughtful in explaining his differing side of the question, and he brings that sort of respectful patience to the way he manages meetings and public hearings. He is his own man, not beholden to any party or person. He’s consistently supported our county employees and schools; he values our rural character, but works to encourage businesses to invest in Gloucester.
He endeavors to develop a well-educated community that can come home and find meaningful work here in Gloucester. He supports our Constitutional rights to free speech, self-defense, and minimal government intrusion. He’s a loving husband, fathe...
