Don’t vote for divisiveness. If you want an anti-school candidate, then Carlton Drew is your choice. He has refused to attend public forums or events to discuss his platform. He wears his disdain for our local school system on his sleeve like a badge of honor. He has released false ads about his opponents just as his mentor (Darren Post) has released divisive and misleading videos about our school system.

One of Mr. Drew’s mission statements even pits elementary schools against each other. His lack of vision and ignorance of the education system has emboldened him to treat the elementary school in his own district as “less than.” The fact is all of our elementary schools are blessed with public servants who care for our children and are dedicated to their education.

The families of the York district deserve a leader who recognizes their excellence, not one who thinks of them as inferior and seeks to create division. Gloucester County is a community kn...
