Editor, Gazette-Journal: In Virginia, only about half of registered voters voted in last November’s election. This year, there are three elections scheduled—one on April 21, the primaries this summer and the one that will determine our Senator and Representative on Nov. 3. Our country’s form of government is a representative democracy which makes your vote the best voice you have to affect how our country is run. This requires that you vote and you should consider carefully and be fully informed when you do.
