I am writing in support of Dr. Robert “JJ” Orth’s candidacy for the Abingdon District seat on the Gloucester Board of Supervisors.

JJ has been a member of the board since 2011 and has provided steady, intelligent, and energetic leadership to Gloucester County.

His involvement in Gloucester County activities stretches over many worthy organizations over the years, including the Abingdon Volunteer Rescue Squad, Gloucester Parks and Recreation, Gloucester High School Athletic Boosters Club, the Middle Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalist Program and Bethany Methodist Church.

JJ works to support and attract business in the county and to advocate for a balance between smart growth and maintaining the rural atmosphere of Gloucester.

Please consider voting for JJ Orth for the Gloucester Board of Supervisors for continued steady leadership.
