It is obvious that Ms. Thompson ("Results testify to Obama’s leadership," Feb. 9 Readers Write) gets her information from government controlled media. I am not a Republican but I am an Independent Conservative Catholic who has read President Obama’s books. Let’s look at Ms. Thompson’s premise that the president has run his presidency wanting to change the way Washington works. First, let’s clarify that Democrats ran the presidency and both houses of Congress the first two years of his presidency. Yes, and he gave us change by forcing Obamacare down our throats. Meeting behind closed doors, denying CSPAN to witness the payoffs he made to hold-out Democrats and spineless RINO Republicans to pass this monstrous 2,000+ page enslavement "health care" bill.
