Tom Neiger’s past and present poems are a delight ("Poetic Reflections," July 19). Unfortunately, not everyone has a sense of the ridiculous, but he always makes you smile. Also enjoyed "Neighbors" and "Bill’s Necklace" by Joel Emerson. On pets, Amy Steele’s article on gifts your cat brings you is so true—I hope Doris Wohlfort reads this to her cat!
