The Samaritan Group, Inc., has recently been the recipient of a check from the Gloucester Community Foundation for the purpose of assisting those victims of the April 16 tornado. I am writing to make people aware that the help is available, as long as the money lasts.

The Samaritan Group accepts applications through the Gloucester Department of Social Services.

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, it is the goal of the Samaritan Group to assist low-income Gloucester residents with temporary financial emergencies.
