Letter: Keep partisan rhetoric out of BOS meetings

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

As a proud resident and taxpayer of Gloucester County, I view the Gloucester Supervisors meetings to stay informed. Supervisor Bazzani should not use this venue to make comments solely based on his political views. These meetings should be conducted in a bi-partisan spirit. During the July 7 meeting, he made comments regarding the Pledge of Allegiance, Red Flag Laws and mail-in voting. These comments reflected his personal political views and were mischaracterizations at best based on misinformation.

Supervisor Smith made the correct comment to “keep political views” out of the meetings. Please listen to his suggestion. At this time we have serious issues in this great county and this great country; divisiveness is one issue that we, as individuals, can control.
