Letter: Gibson has strong background in law enforcement

As a law enforcement professional, the campaign to replace Delegate Harvey Morgan is important to me. Harvey was a friend to law enforcement, and I believe it is crucial that in his place we elect a person who will not only honor this same spirit of service, but build upon that legacy. From my vantage point, there is only one candidate with the credentials on law enforcement—as well as every other issue that matters to the people of the Middle Peninsula—and that is Ken Gibson.

Ken Gibson is a man of exceptional talent and intellect, yet someone who relates to regular people with true concern for our community. He was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Norfolk, and a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Justice Department, where he was assigned to handle extremely sensitive cases involving the most heartbreaking of criminal enterprises.
