Letter: Gibson for Gloucester supervisors

I write in support of my good friend and law partner, Ken Gibson, who is seeking to serve on Gloucester’s Board of Supervisors from Petsworth.

I have worked closely with Ken for 13 years. He exhibits a very strong work ethic, a keen intellect, and a good nature. Ken is well prepared for every court appearance, and his track record of success is proof of his diligence.

Outside of work, Ken and I share a love of shooting. I have seen him wow a crowd during an afternoon of trap shooting. As a former Marine, Ken embodies the creed, “Every Marine, a rifleman.”

The right to keep and bear arms is a staple of a free society where liberty prevails. If we don’t keep this in mind, Virginia and Gloucester will fail to protect the freedoms of our citizens for which our founders fought and died.
