Letter: For Crowley

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

We need Sheila Crowley to represent us in the House of Delegates for the 98th District. Last year, when I listened to Sheila explaining how the discretionary federal budget works to a small group of friends, I took notice. She obviously knew the subject and how to explain it. I was favorably impressed and wanted to talk more with her. Months later, when she decided to run for the Virginia House of Delegates, 

I was elated.

Yes, we need Sheila Crowley. She has never run for office before, but she is ready.

Sheila has working experience in both Richmond and Washington. As CEO of the National Low Income Housing Coalition, she has shown her leadership ability. She can get things done. Sheila’s understanding of issues has led her to testify before congressional committees on varied subjects. She can see the long-term implications of decisions. Sheila supports public education, affordable health care and civil rights, all issues dear to my heart.
