Letter: Demanding justice

Many people are demanding justice for injustices in the distant/recent past. They often have marches/rallies with signs such as “No justice, no peace.” They also often overlook injustices they have committed.

The greatest injustice was the murder of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is perfect and innocent of any sin/wrongdoing. He allowed the crucifixion to offer Himself as a sacrifice for the past, present and future sins of the world.

Abortion, the second greatest injustice, is the murder of helpless, innocent unborn children, who are human and not perfect. It deprives them of life and all other rights. Exodus 21:22-25 states that the penalty/justice for that sin as “… life for life…” That would require the lives of 63,000,000 Americans.

However, anyone who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior, repents, turns away from their sin(s), confesses and receives God’s forgiveness, escapes the punishment because of Christ’s sacrifice. If they are ...
