Letter: Believe in America

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I have heard the definition of insanity as "doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result." So, here are some questions:

Is the availability of real jobs working for you? Do you feel that our economy is doing well? Do you expect the government to give you more, even when the coffers are empty? Is America respected as much as in the past?

If so, then you probably will accept four more years of the same promises and the same results.

We need a president, a leader, who has the wisdom and humility to know he isn’t always right and that our government works better with respect for all and is willing to reach out and work with those who have other ideas.

President Obama has not done this and, as president, it is his responsibility to do so. He has been described by the media and other friends as charming, cool and calm, but "charm" is defined as deceit and "cool and calm" is actually the fact that he doesn’t care unless the ...
