Letter: Altemus for Gloucester Board of Supervisors

I am writing in support of Teresa Altemus for supervisor at-large. She has the right experience we desperately need on our Board of Supervisors.

Do you know that Kevin Smith filed for bankruptcy seven times, according to a 2017 Daily Press article (Google “Kevin Smith, Daily Press, Bankruptcy”).

Do your research on how Kevin Smith voted on the new Page Middle School when it could have been rebuilt saving millions of dollars for the taxpayer while he was a member of the school board. I heard Kevin Smith is a Democrat who only runs as an independent.

Over the last 3.5 years while on the BOS, he missed over 20 meetings. He barely says or contributes anything during the meetings. Smith voted against a 2nd Amendment resolution to make Gloucester a gun sanctuary county. He voted against a 5 percent wage increase for our outstanding teachers this past budget season.
