Letter: A fantastic idea

“Guns Save Lives.” This is the motto of the Virginia Citizens Defense League. At last week’s Mathews County BOS meeting, supervisor Paul Hudgins recommended that county employees get “Active Shooter Training.” County Administrator Ramona Wilson said she could make it mandatory for all county employees. This is a fantastic idea.

With this training, county employees with their concealed carry weapons could be better equipped to engage anyone attempting to attack citizens and be able to neutralize the perp.

Beam Me Up Dear Leader: Hopefully the school board will see the wisdom of this and offer the same training and allow concealed carry by school employees. And I’m Taxed Enough Already. Closing note: In Utah, any person with a state concealed firearm permit can carry their loaded handgun in schools.
