A big thank you to the staff of the Gazette-Journal for the wonderful event, “A Day With Words,” last Thursday. If you did not go to the book fair at the Gazette-Journal last week, you missed a great opportunity to meet local authors and see what they have written. It was, as the Gazette-Journal said, “a celebration of words.”

There were authors who had books on subjects from baseball, poetry, religion and history, to name a few. Surely, everyone from adults to children could find something to interest them. The planning that went into this event was monumental to gather all the authors together and also by the number of visitors. The Gazette-Journal showed the community the wonderful authors and poets we have in this area.

We are indeed fortunate to have the Gazette-Journal in our community. Thank you so much for bringing this celebration, “A Day With Words,” to us.
