Legionnaires to honor WWII veterans

American Legion Gloucester Post 75 will hold a special dinner program on July 24 for the members of the Greatest Generation.

The program, which will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. (with dinner at 5) in the legion hall at 5849 American Legion Way, will be in honor of the area’s World War II veterans. Capt. George “Luke” Luechauer (U.S. Navy-ret.) will be the guest speaker.

Dinner is complimentary for the WWII veterans and their spouses; a $10 donation is requested for all other guests.Reservations are required.
