Lady Knights defeat Eagles

The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League 14U Lady Knights posted a 34-18 win on Saturday against the Eagles.
Delany Robbins recorded extra points and flag pulls, as well as an interception with yards gained. Lillie Green scored a touchdown on an interception. Madyson Bishop and Jemma Washington also scored touchdowns for the Lady Knights. Mena Glass helped with defense, while Dalila Thompson and Abby Thompson assisted with both offense and defense.
The other Knights teams did not fair as well as the flag football team.
The 8U Knights fell to the Smithfield Packers, 27-0. John Odom led the Knights defense with six tackles, followed by Michael Blasing with five. Odom was named best defensive player for the Knights, while Kendall Cook was named best offensive player. Blasing received the most valuable player award.
