Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Gloucester, will host a workshop in Kokedama, the art of making a ball of live moss to hold a plant’s roots. Okie Sidehamer of Newport News will lead the workshop which begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and costs $30.

In support of The Longest Day, a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s research, Brent and Becky’s will open the gardens at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, for a tour led by Brent Heath. Donation is $30; bring a bagged lunch.
