Knights take on Hornets

The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League Knights took on the Williamsburg Hornets over the weekend, suffering tough losses.
The 10U Knights fell to the Hornets, 26-0. Running back Jacob Bloom and quarterback Trace Rasmussen led the Knights’ offense. Defensive players were Kaleb McArthur, Chris Coats, Sloan Locklin, Logan Wood and Bloom. Rasmussen was named the most valuable player for the offense and Bloom was picked as MVP for the defense. For cheer, Harper Artnz had the best technique and Ellianna Howard was named most spirited.
The Gloucester 12U team also fell to the Hornets, 26-0. In offensive highlights, Xavier Broughman had one reception for 20 yards and Leo Collier ran for 15 yards. Broughman was selected as MVP for offense and Stokes was named as defensive MVP. For cheer, Delacey Wilson had the best technique and Shonna Banks was named most spirited.
