The Gloucester Kiwanis Club is accepting vendor sign-ups for its first Christmas Bazaar fundraiser, to be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 15 and 16, at the Boys and Girls Club of Gloucester, 7066 Hayes Shopping Center, Hayes.
Booths, all indoors, will be 10’ x 10’ for $40, with electric access an additional $10. There is room for 50 booths or more, said David James, president of Gloucester Kiwanis.
In addition to Christmas décor, Christmas gifts, and other vendor items for sale, there will be hot dogs, chips, and drinks available for purchase. Tickets for admission will be $5, with children under 12 free of charge.
James said the mission of Kiwanis International is making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of children. Locally, this mission is fulfilled by doing such things as providing scholarships for graduating Gloucester High School seniors, awarding a trophy each month to a Gloucester Boys & Girls Club member who has achieved a leadership role ...
