Ken Houtz Chevrolet-Buick, Inc., located on Route 17 in Gloucester, recently underwent a major upgrade.
Ken Houtz, who owns the automotive business with his wife Pat, said that changes are evident throughout the large building, starting with the blue portal that is part of Chevy’s corporate branding for its top-tier dealerships. The local dealership has received General Motors’ Mark of Excellence award for sales, service and customer satisfaction for seven straight years.
The upgrade required customers and staff to put up with jackhammers, dust and a general upheaval of regular activity at the dealership, Houtz said, but everyone is pleased with the results as the facility is “brighter, fresh and new again.” The new look includes energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly, LED lights throughout.
