The junior golf team retained the Fall Classic Cup on Oct. 19-20 at the Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield.
Led by captains Steve Dunkel and Chucky Oliver, the juniors took Saturday’s play with a score of 9 to the seniors’ 1 in Captains Choice Play. The juniors won Best Ball play with a score of 6 to the seniors 4. The seniors outperformed the juniors in Preferred Drive Play with a score of 6 to 4.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, the seniors continued to be strong in Individual Match Play with a score of 14 to 8. Total overall scores for both days included 27 for juniors and 25 for seniors. The senior team was led by captains Joe Becht and Jim Moncure....
