The Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 75, Gloucester, made and hand-delivered goodie baskets last week to veterans at local residence facilities to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. And they also stopped by the Gazette-Journal offices to thank us for the coverage of Legion and Legion Auxiliary news, which was well appreciated as the Gazette-Journal was in the process of getting out last week’s big commemorative issue.
